Paris Fashion Week - Fall 2014 (part 1)
Sorry for the slight delay.
Had stuff to do over the weekend.
Anyway, finally Paris Fashion Week is here!
I always get excited because everything seems so comforting
when I see models stroll down the runway during PFW.
As much as I love the other looks from NY, London and Milan,
Paris always seem to say "There, there...everything is ok."
Call me crazy but it does!

PFW Spring 2014 - Part 2
So far Paris Fashion Week has gone off to a great start.
Balmain is great as usual. I just love those flounce skirts.
I would definitely wear Ann Demeulemeester. It's just so dark and romantic.
As a matter of fact, I've been seeing quite a number of flounce skirts for next season.

Power Shoulders Galore at Balmain
I'm loving what Olivier Rousteing has done with Balmain's Fall 2013 collection.
And he even named Christian Lacroix, Pierre Balmain and Paul Poiret as his inspiration. You'll have to agree those are great designers to inspire you by.
I guess I've always been a fan of the very edgy 80s fashion. This collection makes me think of Grace Jones, with the small waist and the power shoulders. But within all the edge, there is also a certain softness with the draping on the skirts and harem pants.
